DTT Protection Subject Matter Expert (SME)

SUMMARY

Supports the Army National Guard (ARNG) Mission Command Training Support Program (MCTSP). Doctrinal Training Team (DTT) SMEs support ARNG unit commanders and staff, from battalion through division, by providing doctrinal workshops, over-the-shoulder training, and coaching during individual and collective events at unit-designated training sites. Responsible for collective training to include participation in exercise design, planning, preparation, execution, and assessment activities. Assists in the development of scenarios, script writing, tactical orders, and other supporting JELC products.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

· Responsible for planning and delivering all sixteen of the Protection Warfighting Functions (WFF) tasks for Brigade to Division levels in support of the training audience during live, virtual, constructive, and gaming collective training.

· Develops scheme of maneuver support and protection products in addition to producing Operations Order (OPORD) essential elements of friendly information, CAL, DAL, ANNEX E (Protection) and ANNEX G (Engineer) products to facilitate training.

· Compiles data and inputs from multiple sources to enhance SME support and training.

· Provides SME support in the determination of risk and vulnerability assessment processes for ARNG at the organizational level. Trains Protection staff to develop mitigating solutions for identified th
