Our client, an established industrial automation manufacturer, is seeking a Director of Operations to oversee production, supply chain, quality, and operational performance. This position offers the opportunity to strengthen processes and support sustainable growth within a technically focused manufacturing environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead manufacturing, assembly, supply chain, warehouse, and facilities operations.
• Develop operating plans aligned with production targets, customer commitments, and financial objectives.
• Improve throughput, capacity utilization, product quality, and on-time delivery.
• Establish performance metrics and provide regular operational reporting to senior leadership.
• Oversee inventory planning, vendor performance, purchasing, and material availability.
• Implement lean manufacturing and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Partner with engineering, sales, quality, and service teams to resolve operational challenges.
• Develop managers and supervisors while promoting accountability, safety, and collaboration.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in engineering, operations management, business, or a related field.

10+ years of manufacturing or operations experience, including 5+ years in leadership.

Experience within industrial automation, capital equipment, or engineered products.
