Our client, a manufacturer of custom industrial automation systems, is seeking a Director of Program Management to lead complex customer programs from contract award through installation. This position will strengthen project governance, resource planning, and cross-functional execution across a growing portfolio.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee automation programs from initial planning through commissioning and customer acceptance.
• Establish project governance, reporting standards, schedules, budgets, and risk controls.
• Monitor program scope, cost, timing, quality, and customer commitments.
• Coordinate engineering, procurement, manufacturing, installation, and service resources.
• Address scheduling conflicts, technical risks, scope changes, and delivery concerns.
• Maintain effective communication with customers, suppliers, and internal leadership.
• Standardize program management methods, documentation, and performance measures.
• Recruit, coach, and develop project and program management professionals.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in engineering, project management, business, or a related discipline.

10+ years of project or program management experience.

5+ years of leadership experience within automation, machinery, or capital equipment.

Demonstrated experience managing multiple complex, customer-specific programs.

Strong knowledge of budgeting,
