We are an executive search agency recruiting on behalf of a growing specialty home furnishings company seeking an experienced Human Resources Manager. The business operates several design-focused retail locations offering handcrafted furniture, textiles, décor, and locally inspired home products.

The Human Resources Manager will oversee core people operations as the company expands its retail footprint. This position will partner with leadership on hiring, employee relations, performance management, policies, and workforce planning.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage recruitment and onboarding across retail, warehouse, and corporate positions.
• Advise managers on employee relations and performance matters.
• Maintain HR policies, records, and compliance documentation.
• Coordinate benefits, leave administration, and employee programs.
• Support workforce planning for new locations.
• Improve HR processes as the organization grows.

Requirements

• 5+ years of progressive human resources experience.
• Experience within retail, hospitality, or another multi-location environment preferred.
• Knowledge of federal and New Mexico employment requirements.
• Strong employee relations and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and organizational abilities.
• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business, or a related field preferred.
