(Senior) Embedded Software Engineer (m/f/d) (Linux & RTOS)

ABOUT THE TEAM

We are a dynamic, international team developing a UWB-based Real-Time Locating System (RTLS) that powers solutions for industrial applications. To achieve the precision and scalability required for modern IoT solutions, we build a full stack of software components, including firmware, backend, and frontend applications.

Join our team to scale existing solutions and create innovative KINEXON products in close collaboration with colleagues from our software and hardware departments.

YOUR QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for a mid-level or senior embedded software engineer with experience developing Linux and RTOS-based systems:

• Linux development & system programming, u-boot, device tree & drivers, or kernel modules
• Embedded Linux build environment: Poky (Yocto Project, OpenEmbedded, BitBake) is a plus
• Hardware interfaces such as GPIO, I2C, SPI, UART, USB, Ethernet
• Embedded security concepts (image signing, encryption, secure updates)
• Experience with automated firmware, hardware-in-the-loop and integration testing
