Intern Engineering & Operations

Role Purpose The intern will support the engineering and operations teams by assisting with technical documentation, equipment tagging and process mapping across the farm. The role offers hands-on exposure to how the business operates day to day, working alongside Technical Managers, Engineers, Technicians and the CMMS team. The intern will also be encouraged to review current systems with a fresh perspective and put forward ideas for improvement. Key Responsibilities Control Narratives: Assist in writing and developing the current control narratives. Functional Description Specifications: Assist in updating the current Functional Description Specifications (FDS) on the farm. Equipment Tagging & Labelling: Learn the site equipment and assist with tagging and labelling using the existing Tag lists. Systems Review: Review current systems and processes and suggest possible improvements. Business Understanding: Work with Technical Managers to understand and learn how the business functions. Maintenance Process Documentation: Work with the CMMS team to understand and document the process for how a broken piece of equipment is exchanged or repaired. Team Engagement: Engage with the entire team, from Engineers to Technicians, to build working relationships and gain a broad understanding of site operations.
