What do Team Leaders do?

Harness the skills of Kiva’s dedicated volunteers through an innovative crowdsourcing model

• Provide motivation and leadership to team members to keep loans flowing from Lending Partners to the Kiva website

• Support a diverse and multicultural community of volunteers located across the globe

• Foster a connection between the volunteer community and Kiva headquarters

Act as a first line of support for our editors and translators to keep Kiva’s processes efficient and sustainable

• Craft customized updates and develop creative approaches to strengthen team engagement

• Maintain regular email contact with team members to answer basic questions, provide guidance, and solve problems

• Promote the use of Kiva’s loan review resources and escalate policy and technical questions to Kiva staff

• Monitor team productivity
