Job Description
Job Purpose
This role supports our Energy project teams by providing project coordination, documentation management, communication, and administrative support throughout the lifecycle of solar construction projects. You’ll work closely with Project Managers and project teams to help move projects from construction kickoff through final completion.
You’ll be responsible for maintaining project records, tracking schedules and action items, coordinating equipment, issuing purchase orders and subcontracts, and supporting accurate project financials. Success in this role means keeping projects organized, information current, and teams aligned while upholding KE’s commitment to Safety, People, Passion, and Performance.
What You’ll Do
You’ll be part of a team that gets things done, works with purpose, and takes pride in the results. Your day-to-day responsibilities may include:
- Attend project meetings, track action items and assigned tasks, and record and distribute meeting minutes.
- Support project schedules by tracking deliverables and critical-path activities in Smartsheet.
- Coordinate with project stakeholders to maintain alignment on priorities, schedules, and deadlines.
- Coordinate equipment needs with construction leadership, including skid loaders, excavators, cranes, dumpsters, toilets, and other tools and equipment.
- Maintain project files, drawings, records, and correspondence using KE document management systems.
- Ensure current document revisions are available to project teams and obsolete versions are properly archived.
- Maintain project folder structures in accordance with company standards.
- Create and maintain project records in Smartsheet, Viewpoint, Procore, and other designated systems.
- Issue purchase orders, subcontracts, and change orders as directed for assigned projects.
- Execute cost transfers to ensure project expenses are aligned with the appropriate accounting codes.
- Review project cost activity and open financial commitments to support strong financial organization.
Qualifications

- Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Business Administration, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Knowledge of construction safety standards.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage information, tasks, deadlines, and workflows.
- Ability to coordinate effectively across project teams and multiple stakeholders.
- Knowledge of construction tools and equipment preferred.
- Experience with construction management software such as Bluebeam, Viewpoint, Smartsheet, and Procore preferred.
*This position requires you to work onsite in Goodhue, MN 5days/week*

The salary range for this position is $50,000 - $65,000 per year, which reflects a good-faith estimate based on market data and internal equity.
