Senior Accounting Officer

• Handle full set of accounts, including Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, General Ledger, bank reconciliation and journal entries
• Prepare monthly management accounts, financial reports and schedules in a timely and accurate manner
• Perform month-end and year-end closing activities and assist in audit and tax filing exercises
• Assist in budgeting, forecasting, cash flow management and financial analysis
• Ensure proper accounting records, supporting documentation and compliance with company policies and statutory requirements
• Liaise with external auditors, bankers, professional parties and internal departments on accounting and financial matters
• Participate in system enhancement projects, process improvements and company events (in-/out-door)
• Perform ad hoc assignments and projects as assigned by management

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance or related disciplines, or equivalent qualifications at HKQF level 5
• Minimum 3-5 years of relevant accounting experience, preferably with experience in handling full set of accounts independently
• LCCI Higher / ACCA / HKICPA or related professional qualifications will be an advantage
• Strong knowledge of Hong Kong accounting standards, financial reporting and accounting principles
• Proficient in MS Office applications, particularly Excel; experience with accounting systems is preferred
• Good command of written and spoken English and Chinese
• Strong analytical, problem-solving and communication skills
• Mature, independent, well-organized and able to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
• Detail-minded with a strong sense of responsibility and accountability
• Willing to participate in company events and activities outside normal office hours when required
• Immediate available is highly preferred
