Job Description
Apply understanding of relevant legislation and case law governing funding regimes.
Communicate funding rules to organisations seeking funding.
Assess eligibility based on activities and financial statements.
Prepare and lodge accurate funding claims, including calculations and descriptions.
Provide effective and timely responses to client queries.
Continuously learn and adapt, contribute to system improvement, and be aware of business and economic environments.
A Bachelors Degree or equivalent (Level 7) completed within the last 2 years.

KPMG's Innovation & Growth Advisory team supports businesses of all sizes in navigating the complex field of government funding for innovation. They assist large companies in understanding internal innovation, help SMEs streamline funding access, and guide startups in navigating funding options. The team also collaborates with the government to develop policies and achieve national innovation goals. While currently focused on the R&D Tax Incentive rollout, the long-term strategy includes providing support for other funding forms to fuel New Zealand's prosperity.
