Accounting Assistant (Sales Tax & Billing)

In this role, you will play a crucial part in supporting our day-to-day operations by managing customer accounts, handling billing adjustments, and maintaining tax documentation.

Key Responsibilities:

• System Management: Maintain and update customer sales tax profiles seamlessly within Avalara and Oracle.

• Compliance & Verification: Obtain, review, and validate sales tax exemption and resale certificates from B2B customers.

• Financial Adjustments: Prepare, verify, and input sales tax credits and credit card refunds into the Oracle system.

• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with customer service an
