Role Purpose
You will lead LA28's enterprise insurance strategy, protecting the organization, its venues, and its people as Los Angeles prepares to host the 2028 Olympic and Paralympic Games. Reporting to the Chief Financial Officer, you set the direction for the multi-layered insurance portfolio, the Owner Controlled Insurance Program, captive insurance entity, and complex indemnity and litigation strategies. You establish the standards, workflows, and financial models that govern the enterprise insurance program in partnership with LA28’s insurance brokers, underwriters and advisors.
Key Responsibilities
- Direct the global insurance portfolio, renewal structuring, and placement across corporate, property, casualty, and specialized event lines.
- Provide executive oversight of the Owner Controlled Insurance Program across venue overlay and temporary infrastructure, through closeout reconciliation.
