Behavior Specialist

The Lansing School District serves over 10,000 PreK-12 students across 25 school buildings in the increasingly diverse urban community of Lansing, MI. In pursuit of this mission, we are hiring a Behavior Specialist. Behavior Specialists provide support related to behavior for identified students. They collaborate with other interventionists in the building to ensure all students are fully supported on their path to graduation and beyond.   The highly Qualified Behavioral Specialist will provide supplemental Tier 2 and 3 supports to students, work on problem solving to reduce discipline issues, provide small group sessions with students, and support the schools CRPBIS implementation.
