Job Description

Just imagine building a new in-house media planning capability across an entire region. Then make it real.

About the role

As our CEEMEA Senior Media Planning Manager, you'll lead the transition to an in-house media planning model across the CEEMEA Market Group for the LEGO® Group. You'll shape regional media strategy, establish new ways of working, build a high-performing team, and help connect media investments to business outcomes. This is a rare opportunity to create the foundations for a new operating model while influencing regional and global stakeholders and helping define the future of media planning across multiple markets.

Required Experience

  • Delivered regional or multi-market media planning and strategy across multiple channels and markets.
  • Led media transformation programmes, including in-housing initiatives or operating model implementation.
  • Built governance frameworks, planning processes, or scalable ways of working that improved consistency and efficiency.
  • Managed significant media investments while balancing commercial objectives and media performance outcomes.
  • Established and developed teams, structures, or new organisational capabilities from the ground up.
  • Influenced senior stakeholders across regional and global organisations to drive alignment and adoption of change.

Preferred Experience

  • Experience leading a media team in a regional or global role, working with multiple complex stakeholder groups
  • Worked on marketing/media transformation projects with good experience in applying media governance frameworks within large global organisations

What you'll build

  • Launch and embed the in-house media planning model across CEEMEA.
  • Recruit, onboard, and develop a high-performing regional media planning team.
  • Create governance, operating rhythms, and planning processes that improve consistency and effectiveness.
  • Strengthen partnerships with marketing leaders, investment planning teams, and global media colleagues.
  • Drive adoption of global media frameworks, standards, and best practices across the region.
  • Support data-driven decision making and media innovation across emerging channels and technologies.

If you've worked in a role where you led transformation, built new capabilities, or implemented large-scale operating model changes, you'll feel at home here. What matters most is your ability to combine strategic media expertise with strong delivery, governance, and stakeholder leadership.

Life on the team

You'll join Global Media Planning, a collaborative team that works closely with marketing, analytics, investment planning, and agency partners to deliver meaningful business outcomes. We share knowledge openly, solve challenges together, and value clear communication. This role calls for strong relationship building, team leadership, commercial thinking, and the ability to bring people together around a shared direction. Our hybrid working rhythm combines in-person collaboration for planning, workshops, and key milestones with flexible remote working.

What success looks like

Success means becoming the recognised media leader for CEEMEA, with an in-house planning model operating effectively across the region and a strong team in place. You'll help shape the next phase of media transformation, strengthen governance and investment stewardship, and advance innovation in areas such as AI-enabled capabilities and evolving media ecosystems. You'll work closely with regional marketing leadership, global media teams, investment planning partners, senior business leaders, and agency partners to ensure CEEMEA remains aligned with global standards while delivering regional impact.
