Job Description

Just imagine planning the movement of products around the world through one connected platform. Then make it real.

About the role

As our Software Engineer - Planning Technology (Kinaxis Maestro), you'll help define how planning works across the LEGO® Group through Kinaxis Maestro. You'll design, document, validate and configure end-to-end planning solutions while helping grow Kinaxis Maestro as the go-to platform for planning how products are manufactured and distributed globally. This is a hands-on engineering role where you'll move between solution design, business discussions and platform configuration, helping create stable, scalable and future-ready planning capabilities.

Required Qualifications

  • Delivered solutions using Kinaxis Maestro, including platform configuration and optimisation

  • Built end-to-end APS or supply chain planning solutions from business requirements through implementation

  • Designed planning architectures that connect business processes and technology platforms

  • Translated complex business requirements into documented planning solutions

  • Applied supply chain planning processes and dependencies across planning environments

  • Led collaboration between business and technology teams in a solution architecture or consulting capacity

Preferred Qualifications

  • Implemented Closed Loop Planning concepts or operating models

  • Configured Kinaxis integrations, data models and planning master data

  • Delivered solutions across supply, demand, inventory, S&OP or IBP planning processes

  • Established solution governance frameworks, architecture standards or SAP engineering capabilities

What you'll build

  • Define and shape planning solutions within the Kinaxis Maestro platform

  • Improve platform stability through stronger configuration, data flow management and operational practices

  • Introduce release management approaches and support models that strengthen platform health

  • Challenge legacy processes and help align planning ways of working with platform capabilities

  • Support the wider planning transformation journey across the organisation

If you've worked in a role where you designed and configured complex planning solutions while partnering closely with both business and technology stakeholders, you'll feel at home here. What matters most is your ability to turn requirements into practical solutions, document decisions clearly and help others grow their capability.

Life on the team

You'll join Supply and Demand Technology, a team that helps keep critical business processes running and supports the movement of goods around the world. We're curious, collaborative and focused on solving meaningful challenges together. Our hybrid rhythm keeps us connected while giving flexibility. You'll work with experienced peers, platform stakeholders and end users, bringing thoughtful problem-solving, strong communication, constructive challenge and a willingness to mentor others.

What success looks like

Success means helping the team build a more stable and effective Kinaxis Maestro platform while supporting major priorities over the next few years. You'll work closely with team members and platform stakeholders to improve planning outcomes, strengthen engineering practices and contribute to the delivery of platform and team objectives tied to Kinaxis Maestro.
