Product Pod Lead - Smartglasses
The role
You own a product line end-to-end. Not a function within it — the whole thing. Hardware, software, launch, revenue, and the customer after they've bought it. You will be the single person in the company who is accountable for whether your product succeeds.
This is deliberately structured as a founder role inside a large company: no team beneath you on day one, no fixed remit, and full latitude to decide what your product should be.
What you'll own
Product & hardware
Drive new product development with hardware vendors in China — specs, BOM and cost trade-offs, tooling, sample reviews, DVT/PVT gates.
Own the PRD. Define what gets built, in what order, and what "done" looks like.
Run firmware and software delivery with our engineering partners — release cadence, feature scope, bug triage, launch sign-off
Consumer & positioning
Sit close to real users. Store visits, user testing, app reviews, support tickets — and translate that into product decisions rather than a slide.
Continuous competitive benchmarking: teardowns, spec comparisons, pricing moves from Meta and the Chinese entrants.
Go-to-market
Own the launch: PDP and app surfaces, retail rollout, store demo experience and staff enablement, brand and performance marketing briefs, influencer and content cam
