Job Summary
The Clinical Director will provide professional clinical services to clients with substance use disorders (alcohol and other drugs) and often co-occurring mental health conditions. The role will include assessment, treatment planning, individual/group therapy, case management, documentation, and collaboration with multidisciplinary teams to promote client recovery, wellness, and long-term stability.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive assessments of clients with alcohol and/or drug use disorders, including screening, intake, biopsychosocial evaluation, risk assessment, and identification of co-occurring mental health conditions.
- Develop individualized treatment plans, goals and objectives in collaboration with clients, aligning with evidence-based practices and program protocols.
- Provide individual counseling, group therapy, family support/education, relapse-prevention planning, and appropriate psychoeducation on addiction and recovery processes.
