Reporting to the Director of Live Service, you’ll build and lead analytics, including data engineering, for a new AAA IP from development through launch and into live operations. Year one is about foundations: KPIs, telemetry and playtest support through Alpha and Beta. After launch, the focus moves to live service performance and economy health. This is primarily an analytics and people leadership role. 

Key Duties Include

• Own the analytics strategy by defining the questions, KPIs and frameworks that support product, design and commercial decisions, then translating them into a measurement plan covering telemetry, event taxonomy and data quality 
• Build and lead the analytics and data engineering team through hiring, coaching, and setting standards, ways of working and priorities 
• Partner with Design, Production and UXR to set hypotheses and success criteria for features and playtests, and evaluate them through telemetry, experiments or other appropriate methods, weighing data alongside player research and design judgem
