Project Engineer

The Project Engineer partners with Project Managers and Development Executives, property management and accounting teams, architects, engineers, consultants, and general contractors to support the successful execution of development and construction projects.

This position is intended for an individual with construction experience who is ready to take increased ownership of projects and grow into a Project Manager role. The Project Engineer / Assistant Project Manager will support projects throughout design, preconstruction, permitting, construction, and closeout while progressively assuming responsibility for project schedule, budget, contracts, coordination, and execution.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Assist Project Managers and Development Executives with the planning, coordination, and execution of development and construction projects of varying size and complexity.
• Review construction drawings, specifications, contracts, proposals, RFIs, submittals, and other project documentation for completeness, coordination, and constructability.
• Coordinate with architects, engineers, consultants, general contractors, vendors, property management, tenants, and internal stakeholders to drive project decisions and resolve open items.
