Job Description
The Project Manager, Construction independently manages moderate to large-scale construction and capital improvement projects, serving as the primary point of contact for owners and clients. This role owns project budgets, schedules, and vendor performance for assigned projects within the market, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to Lincoln's quality standards.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Function as the primary point of contact for owners, clients, and stakeholders on assigned construction projects.
- Develop and manage project budgets and schedules, providing regular status reporting to clients and leadership.
- Select and manage architects, engineers, consultants, and general contractors appropriate to project requirements.
- Review and negotiate contracts, bids, and change orders, ensuring alignment with project budget and objectives.
- Oversee construction document review, permitting, and the AHJ approval process.
- Conduct regular site visits to monitor quality, schedule adherence, and safety compliance.
- Manage the pay application, invoicing, and project accounting process.
