Job Summary
The Electrical Superintendent is responsible for the safe, reliable, and compliant operation of electrical and electronic systems across assigned vessels. This role serves as the primary shore-side technical lead for shipboard electrical matters, supporting maintenance, troubleshooting, drydock planning, projects, compliance, and system reliability across the fleet.
Essential Duties
Provide technical support to shipboard engineering teams for electrical system operation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and reliability.
Serve as the primary shore-side escalation point for complex electrical, automation, navigation, communication, and related system issues.
Plan and oversee electrical maintenance, drydock work, repairs, and upgrade projects.
Ensure compliance with Class, Flag State, SOLAS, USCG, and company SMS requirements.
