Job Description

Link Solutions is seeking an Army Golden Master (AGM) Functional Area Expert to join our team in Sierra Vista, AZ.

  • Active DoD Secret Clearance required
  • DoD 8570/8140 IAT Level III certification required
  • Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer (MCSE) certification required
  • Non-remote (relocation incentive available)

The Army Golden Master (AGM) Functional Area Expert will support the Army Department of Defense Information Network Cybersecurity and Network Operations Mission Support (ADCNOMS) program in support of the U.S. Army Network Enterprise Technology Command (NETCOM).

The AGM Functional Area Expert offers an opportunity to support Army modernization, automation, and cybersecurity initiatives across enterprise environments. In this role, you will serve as a technical leader supporting Army Golden Master development, application packaging, software deployment, systems administration, cloud technologies, and enterprise integration efforts.

Working alongside engineers, cybersecurity professionals, and Army stakeholders, you will help design, deploy, and sustain standardized enterprise solutions that enhance operational readiness, security, and performance. This position is ideal for experienced IT professionals seeking to make a direct impact on critical Army missions and enterprise technology transformation.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Provide planning, design, development, engineering, integration, and technical support for the program and initiatives.
  • Design, develop, test, package, deploy, and manage enterprise applications utilizing MSI, MSIX, Intune, Microsoft Endpoint Management, and related software deployment technologies.
  • Create and maintain automation, scripting, and orchestration solutions using PowerShell, Python, and related technologies to improve operational efficiency.
  • Design, develop, maintain, and support Army Gold Master builds, operating system configurations, deployment baselines, and enterprise endpoint management solutions.
  • Administer and maintain Windows Server, Windows desktop, Linux, SQL Server, and related enterprise infrastructure environments.
  • Install, configure, support, and maintain Microsoft, third-party, cloud-based, and enterprise software solutions across hybrid environments.
  • Develop and maintain SharePoint Online environments, workflows, user interfaces, and collaboration solutions.
  • Provide administration and technical support for Azure DevOps, Microsoft Azure, AWS, and related cloud and development platforms.
  • Administer and maintain physical and virtual infrastructure, including servers, storage, networking, and virtualization technologies.
  • Support systems integration, migration, testing, deployment, modernization, directory services integration, and application interoperability initiatives.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues across enterprise, cloud, and multi-platform environments.
  • Develop and maintain technical documentation, engineering artifacts, implementation guides, standard operating procedures, and configuration records.
  • Collaborate with Government stakeholders, engineering teams, and cross-functional working groups to support NETCOM enterprise solutions and mission requirements.
  • Evaluate emerging technologies and provide recommendations to improve security, standardization, operational efficiency, and overall enterprise effectiveness.

Qualifications

  • U.S. Citizen.
  • Active DoD Secret Clearance.
  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or related technical field.
  • Eight (8+) years of experience supporting enterprise information technology operations, systems administration, network infrastructure, or related IT environments.
  • Level III certification (CASP+/SecurityX, CISSP, CCNP Security, CISA, or equivalent).
  • Experience developing applications using C#, C++, Java, or similar programming languages.
  • Experience developing automation and scripting solutions utilizing PowerShell, Python, or similar technologies.
  • Experience with enterprise application packaging and deployment technologies, including MSI, MSIX, Advanced Installer, InstallShield, or similar tools.
  • Experience administering Windows Server, Windows desktop, Linux, and SQL Server environments.
  • Experience supporting Microsoft Intune, Microsoft Endpoint Management, and enterprise software deployment solutions.
  • Experience with Visual Studio or comparable development environments.
  • Experience supporting virtualization technologies, enterprise infrastructure, and hybrid environments.
  • Experience developing technical documentation, system designs, configuration management artifacts, and architectural documentation.
  • Strong analytical, troubleshooting, problem-solving, communication, and technical writing skills.

Preferred:

  • Microsoft enterprise certification (MCSE or equivalent).
  • Experience supporting NETCOM, Army Enterprise environments, or Department of Defense modernization initiatives.
  • Experience with Azure DevOps, CI/CD pipelines, and software development lifecycle (SDLC) methodologies.
  • Experience supporting Microsoft Azure, AWS, Kubernetes, containerization technologies, and cloud-native applications.
  • Experience developing SharePoint Online solutions and enterprise collaboration platforms.
  • Experience with web development technologies including HTML, JavaScript, CSS, ASP.NET, and related frameworks.
  • Experience with Elastic, SIEM platforms, cybersecurity operations, or enterprise logging solutions.
  • Experience supporting virtual desktop infrastructure (VDI) and modern endpoint management solutions.
  • Experience securing operating systems, enterprise applications, and infrastructure platforms.
  • Experience supporting enterprise application integration, migration, and deployment initiatives.
  • Experience supporting mission-critical systems and large-scale enterprise operations.
