Job Description
Link Solutions is seeking an IT Logistics Specialist to join our team in Orlando, FL.

The IT Logistics Specialist will support the South East Region Cyberspace Support Center (RCSC) and be responsible for coordinating logistics, asset management, inventory control, procurement support, and lifecycle management activities for mission-critical information technology resources.
This position plays a vital role in ensuring the availability, accountability, and operational readiness of IT assets supporting Government operations. The successful candidate will work closely with technical teams, procurement professionals, vendors, and Government stakeholders to manage equipment, software, licensing, documentation, and logistics activities throughout the asset lifecycle.
The ideal candidate is highly organized, detail-oriented, and experienced in logistics, inventory management, asset accountability, customer service, and documentation management within a structured IT or Department of Defense environment.
Job Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement logistics plans supporting the acquisition, storage, distribution, deployment, maintenance, and disposal of IT assets.
- Coordinate with procurement, supply chain, and technical teams to ensure timely delivery and deployment of IT equipment and services.
- Maintain accurate records for IT hardware, software licenses, peripherals, and related technology assets.
- Conduct regular inventories, audits, and asset reconciliation activities to ensure accountability and accuracy of records.
- Track IT assets throughout their lifecycle from acquisition through decommissioning and disposal.
- Manage the distribution, transfer, and allocation of IT resources to ensure operational readiness and mission support.
- Coordinate with vendors and suppliers regarding procurement, delivery schedules, warranty support, and equipment replacement activities.
- Monitor logistics-related contracts, maintenance agreements, and service renewals to ensure contract compliance.
- Support technology refresh initiatives, hardware replacement programs, and infrastructure modernization efforts.
- Coordinate with technical support teams to ensure equipment is properly maintained, serviced, and available for operational requirements.
- Prepare and maintain logistics reports, inventory status reports, asset records, distribution logs, and related documentation.
- Develop and maintain schedules, documentation, configuration management records, and operational tracking systems.
- Ensure compliance with Department of Defense (DoD), Army, and organizational policies governing asset management and logistics operations.
- Support the secure handling, transportation, storage, and accountability of Government-owned equipment.
- Collaborate with leadership, logistics personnel, technical teams, and customers to support mission objectives and operational requirements.
- Provide guidance and support regarding logistics processes, inventory procedures, and asset management best practices.

Compensation Range:
- $65,000 - $75,000 annually
- Full-Time (Monday-Friday)
Several factors influence final compensation, including relevant experience, technical expertise, certifications, and education.
Qualifications
- U.S. Citizen.
- Active DoD Secret Clearance.
- One (1+) year of experience supporting logistics, supply chain operations, inventory management, asset management, customer support, or related operational functions.
- Experience maintaining records, schedules, reports, inventories, and documentation.
- Experience with technical editing, documentation management, records management, or configuration management processes.
- Experience supporting logistics, supply chain management, procurement activities, inventory management, or asset accountability programs.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Preferred:
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Knowledge of Army logistics, procurement, and asset management procedures.
- Experience supporting Department of Defense (DoD) programs or environments.
- Experience supporting IT asset management, hardware lifecycle management, or technology refresh initiatives.
- Experience providing support for mission-critical systems and high-visibility customers.
- Experience with inventory management systems, logistics tracking tools, or enterprise asset management platforms.
- Knowledge of software licensing, hardware asset management, and equipment accountability processes.
- Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
- Superior organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks.
- Ability to multitask, manage competing priorities, and work independently with minimal supervision.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
