Job Description

Link Solutions is seeking a Network Administrator (Intermediate-Level) to join our team in Orlando, FL.

• U.S. Citizen only
• Active DoD Top Secret Clearance required
• DoD 8570/8140 IAT Level II certification or higher is required
• Non-remote (relocation incentive available)

The Network Administrator (Intermediate-Level) will support the South East Region Cyberspace Support Center (RCSC) and be responsible for administering, maintaining, troubleshooting, and securing enterprise network infrastructure supporting mission-critical operations.

This position works closely with systems administrators, cybersecurity personnel, engineers, and operations teams to ensure the availability, performance, and security of enterprise network services. The ideal candidate has experience supporting Cisco, Juniper, and Aruba technologies and possesses a strong foundation in enterprise networking concepts and troubleshooting.

Job Responsibilities:

• Provide Tier II/III network support for enterprise environments.
• Monitor, troubleshoot, and resolve network connectivity, performance, and availability issues.
• Install, configure, administer, and maintain enterprise network infrastructure, including routers, switches, wireless systems, and associated management platforms.
• Support Cisco, Juniper, and Aruba networking technologies.
• Assist with network upgrades, modernization efforts, and infrastructure improvement initiatives.
• Collect and analyze network utilization and performance data to support optimization efforts.
• Support disaster recovery planning, testing, and business continuity initiatives.
• Maintain network diagrams, technical documentation, configuration baselines, and operational procedures.
• Collaborate with systems administrators, cybersecurity teams, and engineers to resolve technical issues.
• Support enterprise storage networking technologies, including SAN environments.
• Assist with implementing network security controls and maintaining compliance with DoD requirements.
• Support technical training and knowledge transfer activities for users and team members.

Compensation Range:

• $80,000 - $90,000 annually
• Full-Time (Monday-Friday)

Several factors influence final compensation, including relevant experience, technical expertise, certifications, and education.

Qualifications

• U.S. Citizen 
• Active DoD Secret Clearance.
• Four (4+) years of experience supporting, administering, and troubleshooting enterprise network environments.
• IAT Level II Certification equivalent or higher per DoD 8570/DoD 8140 (CompTIA Security+ CE, CCNA Security, GICSP, GSEC, SSCP, etc.).
• Experience troubleshooting and resolving Tier II/III network connectivity, performance, and availability issues in enterprise environments.
• Experience with Cisco, Juniper, and Aruba networking technologies, including routing, switching, and wireless administration.
• Knowledge of network monitoring and analysis tools used to identify performance trends, capacity issues, and service disruptions.
• Experience implementing and maintaining network security controls in accordance with DoD, NIST, or similar security frameworks.
• Experience supporting network infrastructure upgrades, modernization efforts, and technology refresh initiatives.
• Knowledge of disaster recovery, business continuity, and high-availability networking concepts.
• Experience maintaining network diagrams, technical documentation, configuration baselines, and standard operating procedures.
• Ability to collaborate effectively with systems administrators, cybersecurity personnel, and engineering teams to resolve technical issues.
• Experience supporting storage networking technologies, including SAN connectivity and related enterprise storage environments.
• Baseline certification required within six (6) months of hire if not already obtained.

Preferred:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Information Systems, or a related technical discipline.
• Cisco Certified Network Professional (CCNP).
• Experience supporting Department of Defense (DoD) environments.
• Experience with Cisco ACI and enterprise wireless networking solutions.
• Experience with NetApp, HPE SAN technologies, and Fibre Channel networking.
• Knowledge of network security best practices and cybersecurity compliance requirements.
• Experience supporting mission-critical systems and high-profile customers.
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
