This role will be based in New York or San Francisco.

The LinkedIn Monetization Strategy team is looking for a Monetization Strategy Manager to accelerate growth and improve go-to-market strategy for LinkedIn's Online Subscriptions globally. This individual will work closely with leaders in our marketing, sales, finance, and product organizations to help craft new business models, define monetization strategies for new offerings, optimize packaging & pricing for existing products, and develop global processes to ensure successful pricing execution.

Responsibilities
Serve as the monetization strategy trusted advisor for a set of products and services across LinkedIn Consumer Subscriptions. You will lead 2-3 initiatives concurrently and work with cross-functional partners supporting the growth and development of initiatives.
Partner with Product Management, Product Marketing and Strategic Finance to determine:
Go-to-market and monetization strategies for next-generation of consumer subscription products as Premium rolls out new AI-based features and products
Evolution of the current product portfolio, pricing and offers to accelerate growth in emerging markets and high growth segments
Pricing and packaging strategy that best serves LinkedIn's member base across evolving audiences like Creators, Entrepreneurs, Thought Leaders and Gamers
Leverage hypothesis-driven analyses to evaluate subscription pricing, packaging and member value opportunities.
Build analytical models to inform, size and influence pricing strategy.
Lead member research and large-scale quantitative customer studies using techniques including Max Diff, Conjoint, concept tests and pricing/value assessments.
Partner with Commerce and Engineering teams to determine how to implement pricing & packaging changes in internal systems and processes.
Develop process foundations to improve price governance, monitoring of price performance, execution, market validation, & decision making.
Measure and track monetization performance to enable continuous improvements to our pricing and packaging.
Evolve pricing and packaging to better align with member value and willingness-to-pay to encourage deeper engagement and retention.
Drive recommendations and partner with stakeholders to turn opportunities into realized value by providing guidance and support throughout the go-to-market processes.
Qualifications
Basic Qualifications
4+ Years of Pricing, Strategy & Operations, Business Strategy, Finance, Business Analytics and/or Go-To-Market Strategy experience at a SaaS company or similar experience in an analytical role.
BA/BS degree in economics, management science, business, applied math, statistics, finance, analytics or related field.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience building & optimizing commercial business models or broader Go-To-Market strategies, optimizing packaging & pricing strategy for consumer subscription, SaaS, or digital product businesses.
Demonstrated success and passion for collecting and using customer insight to drive strategic Go-To-Market, pricing and/or packaging decisions.
Demonstrated analytical and quantitative skills; experience using hypothesis and data-driven analyses to solve complex business problems and quantify business opportunities. (e.g., A/B testing and other experimentation methods)
Experience leveraging AI-based tools and solutions to conduct market research, quantitative assessments to drive process improvements and analysis
Experience conducting end-to-end market research for willingness-to-pay assessments (e.g. Van Westendorp, Gabor Granger, Conjoint etc.).
Experience operating in a cross-functional work environment with a consistent record of delivering impact.
Proven track record in developing the business case for changes in Go-To-Market strategy for a global senior executive audience (Senior Directors/VPs/LOB C-Suite).
Comfortable building and interpreting subscription and product performance reports, running own SQL analyses and building financial models.
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, “get it done” entrepreneurial environment.
Ability to structure and communicate complex information in a simplified manner both written and verbally.
Relevant graduate level degree in business (i.e., MBA), economics or a related field.
Comfortable with developing creative solutions under ambiguity and uncertainty.
Strategic and creative problem-solver who loves to tackle complex challenges in a collaborative team environment.
Intellectually curious and adaptable to different environments and team settings.
Monetization strategy skills. Ability to understand member needs/perceived value, drive customer value creation, and develop go-to-market and growth strategies to accelerate subscription growth.

LinkedIn is committed to fair and equitable compensation practices.
The pay range for this role is $109,000 to $176,000. Actual compensation packages are based on several factors that are unique to each candidate, including but not limited to skill set, depth of experience, certifications, and specific work location. This may be different in other locations due to differences in the cost of labor.
