Job Description
Liquid Personnel is recruiting a Deputy Manager for our client's Children's Residential Team in Cavan.
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Deputy Manager to support young people living in a residential care setting. This role focuses on delivering high-quality, person-centred care that promotes safety, stability, emotional wellbeing, and positive outcomes. You will play a key role in creating a nurturing and supportive environment, helping young people to thrive and achieve their full potential.
What will your responsibilities be?
- Manage the residential centre to provide a safe, caring and stable environment for children and young people, in line with policies, national standards and relevant legislation.
- Ensure Care and Placement Plans are developed, implemented, regularly reviewed and accurately recorded for each young person.
- Promote and safeguard the rights, welfare, development and individual needs of young people, working closely with families, staff and external agencies.
- Manage, supervise and support staff, including arranging rosters, ensuring appropriate staffing levels and skill mix, maintaining staff records and identifying training and development needs.
