Family Court Adviser

Liquid Personnel is recruiting a Cafcass to join its client’s Family Court Adviser team, based in Manchester. This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled social worker to work within Private Law and Work After First Hearing (WAFH) proceedings, ensuring children's welfare remains at the heart of all decision-making.

As a Family Court Adviser, you will provide advanced social work support to children, families, and the courts. You will be responsible for assessing risk, analysing complex family situations, advising courts on safeguarding and welfare concerns, and working directly with children and families to achieve positive outcomes.

What will your responsibilities be? 

• Undertake comprehensive assessments of children and families involved in family court proceedings.
• Analyse complex information and make evidence-based recommendations to the court.
• Assess risk and identify safeguarding concerns to ensure children are protected.
• Work directly with children and families to understand their experiences and wishes.
