Social Worker - Child Protection

Liquid Personnel is recruiting for its client for a Children’s Social Worker to join the Child Protection Team, based in the West Midlands.

What will your responsibilities be?

As a Social Worker within the Child Protection Team, you will:

• Safeguard children and young people who may be at risk of abuse, neglect, exploitation, or other forms of harm.
• Assess the needs, risks, and circumstances of children and families to inform decision-making.
• Develop, implement, and review child protection and safeguarding plans.
• Work collaboratively with parents, carers, schools, healthcare professionals, and partner agencies.
• Undertake statutory visits, assessments, and interventions in line with relevant legislation and guidance.
• Maintain accurate, timely, and confidential case records and reports.
• Attend and contribute to multi-agency meetings, case conferences, and court proceedings where required.
• Provide support, guidance, and signposting to appropriate services and resources.
• Manage a caseload effectively while ensuring positive outcomes for children and families.
• Promote the safety, welfare, development, and best interests of children and young people at all times.
