Job Description
Liquid Personnel is recruiting a Children’s Social Worker for its client’s Child Protection Team in Swindon. In this role, you will work with children, young people, and their families where there are safeguarding and child protection concerns. You will assess children’s needs and risks, develop and implement effective child protection plans, and work closely with families and partner agencies to promote children’s safety, wellbeing, and development.
What will your responsibilities be?
- Undertake assessments of children and families and identify safeguarding risks and needs.
- Manage a caseload of children subject to child protection plans and care proceedings where required.
- Develop and review plans to ensure children are safe and their needs are being met.
- Build positive, professional relationships with children, parents and carers.
- Work collaboratively with schools, health services, police and other partner agencies.
- Maintain accurate records and produce clear, evidence-based reports.
- Attend and contribute to child protection conferences, reviews and professional meetings.
- Promote children’s voices, rights and best interes
