We are looking for someone to join our Deal Desk team as part of Order Management. As part of this team, you will work with senior management to ensure that both customers and sales representatives are supported through Lucid’s sales process. Responsibilities

  • Work directly with sales reps to process sales orders of varying size and complexity in our CRM and billing systems
  • Work closely with the Deal Strategy, Audit, Consolidations, Customer Success, and Accounts Receivable teams to ensure compliance with published sales and business policies and procedures
  • Review and approve orders to ensure completeness and accuracy of bookings, license provisioning, and customer invoicing
  • Develop an in-depth understanding of licensing models and recommend contract structures based on client use cases
  • Develop and demonstrate basic knowledge of revenue recognition principles
  • Become a subject matter expert for Lucid’s sales rules of engagement, business policies, and business procedures across all products, systems, and departments
  • Develops an in-depth understanding of CRM and billing systems in order to strategically troubleshoot problems to address both short- and long-term solutions
  • Work cross-functionally with all departments, including Sales, Customer Success, Accounting, Legal, Finance, and Go To Market
  • Be an advocate and partner to internal organizations by understanding the complex needs of the Sales, Finance, and Go To Market organizations
  • Drive process improvements to current business systems, processes, and procedures to improve sales rep experience as well as reduce overall processing time, including AI based solutions
  • Other duties as assigned

Requirements

  • High attention to detail and a drive to achieve high accuracy rates
  • Ability to drive, lead, and guide complex business processes and assist with executing process improvement plans
  • Positive attitude and willingness to adapt to evolving processes
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills; must be able to work well with sales, operations, customer success, and accounting teams
  • Passion for working cross-departmentally with internal customers and stakeholders on complex business processes and projects 
  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively to achieve shared team objectives
  • Innovative, highly motivated, and success driven approach to work activities
  • Excellent work ethic and problem solving skills
  • Ability to research, analyze, and synthesize customer account data from multiple systems to assess overall account status and communicate findings effectively
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel or Google Sheets

Preferred Qualifications

  • 1-2 years experience in deal desk, accounts receivable, order management, business operations, or similar role
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Accounting, Finance, Information Systems, or similar field 
  • Experience working in Salesforce or other CRM systems
  • Experience working in a billing, invoicing, or order management system
  • Experience working with a SaaS Enterprise level Sales organization
