Material Planning Lead
We are seeking a Materials Planning Lead to drive end-to-end material readiness across NPI prototype builds and volume manufacturing transitions. Sitting at the intersection of hardware engineering, supply chain, and contract manufacturers, you will manage complex consigned and turnkey supply chains, mitigate E&O exposure, and leverage data analytics to ensure seamless execution from initial build through mass production.

- Direct material requirements planning and kitting for engineering prototypes across Proto, EVT, DVT and PVT builds
- Track material clear-to-build status across tier-1 and tier-2 contract manufacturers, and manage consigned component pipelines to prevent line-down events
- Partner with hardware engineering to assess how design changes affect materials, and manage revision roll-overs so we avoid scrap during active builds
- Model demand scenarios, including swings of 30% up or down, to size material buffers correctly without tying up
