Our Supply Chain Team is looking for a detail-oriented and well-organized student to join us as a Supply Chain Import Assistant and support the coordination and management of our import activities.

Working closely with the Import Planner and Import Manager, you will help ensure the timely, accurate, and compliant importation of goods and materials, primarily from suppliers based in the Far East.

Please note that this position is exclusively available to candidates who currently hold student status. It is a fixed-term position until the end of the year, with the possibility of an extension for a few additional months. The role offers flexible working hours ranging from 20 to 40 hours per week, making it possible to combine the position with your studies.

WHAT WE OFFER

As a Supply Chain Import Assistant, you will support the smooth and efficient management of import operations. Your main responsibilities will include:

  • Processing import documentation, including purchase orders, commercial invoices, packing lists and bills of lading

  • Tracking international shipments and providing regular status updates to the relevant stakeholders

  • Checking the accuracy and completeness of import documents

  • Identifying discrepancies and supporting their timely resolution

  • Maintaining accurate Excel files and records covering import transactions and documentation

  • Supporting inventory management by providing timely and reliable information about incoming shipments

  • Collaborating with the Import Planner, Import Manager and other internal stakeholders to ensure efficient import operations

YOUR PROFILE

We are looking for someone who is structured, reliable and comfortable working with detailed information.

You will ideally bring:

  • Fluency in English, both written and spoken

  • Good knowledge of Microsoft Office, particularly Excel

  • Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills

  • A proactive and solution-oriented approach

  • Good problem-solving skills

  • The ability to communicate effectively with different stakeholders

  • Current or completed studies in Logistics, Supply Chain Management or a related field

Previous professional experience in logistics or import operations would be an advantage but is not essential.
