Job Description
Major League Baseball is looking for an Assistant, Minor League Operations & Development (Seasonal) in the Minor League Operations & Development department to support key baseball operations functions and contribute to the tools, reporting, and processes that shape the department, including its use of data and AI. Throughout the season, you will gain hands-on experience, education, and mentorship, developing a thorough understanding of minor league operations and player development across professional baseball.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with members of Minor League Operations & Development and the broader Baseball Operations department on aspects of league operations and administration
- Liaise between player development stakeholders, including 120 Player Development License (PDL) Club front offices and 30 MLB Club player development departments
- Maintain, update, and improve the code and data pipelines behind the department’s rep
