Compliance Assurance Testing & Monitoring Analyst
Marqeta's Compliance Testing and Monitoring team operates as an independent function within the compliance organization, designing and executing controls testing across the full lifecycle of Marqeta's card programs to ensure regulatory requirements and bank partner obligations are met.
As one of Marqeta’s Compliance Assurance Testing & Monitoring Analysts, you will be on the team that independently evaluates whether compliance controls are actually working, not just whether they exist on paper.
In this roll you will execute controls testing across compliance domains including BSA/AML, Reg E, Reg Z, CDD/EDD, complaints and dispute resolution; review transaction records, onboarding files, and program documentation to assess control performance against regulatory standards and internal policy; document findings with clarity and precision, contributing to reports that reach bank partners, senior leadership, and regulators; support issues and remediation tracking by monitoring open findings through to closure and following up with program owners; and contribute to reporting and metrics that give Marqeta and its partners a clear, current picture of compliance control health.
This role can be performed in a hybrid work model (Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday onsite) from our Warsaw office. We’d love for you to join us!
The Impact You’ll Have
Your findings will directly inform how Marqeta and its program partners remediate compliance gaps, reducing regulatory and reputational risk across a portfolio of programs that operate at significant scale.
The controls testing you execute will serve as a critical input into Marqeta's bank partner relationships, including examinations and audits.
Your work will contribute directly to a compliance program that is evolving rapidly, giving you the opportunity to shape how testing is done at Marqeta, not just execute a playbook someone else wrote.
Who You Are
0 to 2 years of experience in compliance, audit, risk, financial services, or a related field; we will consider exceptional recent graduates with relevant coursework or internship experience
Foundational understanding of U.S. financial services regulation, including at least one of the following: BSA/AML, Reg E, Reg Z, CDD/EDD, or consumer complaints frameworks

Demonstrated ability to work carefully with detailed information, identify inconsistencies, and follow a structured methodology
