The role is built around children with communication needs, with time to work closely with families and colleagues from other disciplines. It suits a clinician who wants a focused paediatric caseload in a supportive team, with a coastal lifestyle close by.

The practice

• A locally owned paediatric allied health practice on the Sunshine Coast with a strong reputation among families
• Speech Pathology, Occupational Therapy, Psychology, Play Therapy, Feeding Therapy and Counselling all sit under one roof
• A team of around 17, so your colleagues are down the hall, not across a referral form
• Therapy that begins with a proper parent meeting, so goals reflect what matters to the family
• Home resources and practical strategies for families and schools, not just clinic sessions

The role

• Permanent, with full time or a flexible structure to suit you
• 100% paediatric, with no adult caseload
• Roughly 75% NDIS
• A caseload that can include fluency and stuttering, AAC, childhood apraxia of speech, developmental language disorder, literacy, and communication needs linked to ASD and ADHD
• Joint or time matched sessions with OT
