Electrical Engineer/ Draftsman

We are looking for an experienced Electrical Engineer / Electrical Draftsman / MEP BIM Modeller to join our team. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in electrical drafting and BIM modelling, with hands-on proficiency in AutoCAD and Revit and a solid understanding of MEP systems.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare detailed electrical drawings, layouts, shop drawings and technical documentation.
• Develop and modify electrical models using Revit MEP.
• Prepare 2D drawings and technical details using AutoCAD.
• Coordinate electrical designs with architectural, structural and other MEP disciplines.
• Develop and maintain BIM models in accordance with project requirements.
• Review drawings and models for accuracy, coordination and compliance with project specifications.
• Identify and resolve design clashes using BIM coordination workflows.
• Prepare electrical layouts including lighting, power, containment and other related systems.
• Coordinate with engineers, consultants, contractors and other project stakeholders.
• Ensure drawings and models are updated according to project revisions.
• Support project teams with technical drawings, quantity information and documentation as required.

Requirements

• Degree/Diploma in Electrical Engineering, Electrical Design, or a related field
