Job Description

As a Solution Designer / Senior Developer, you will lead the technical design, development, and integration of core banking application systems. This role bridges traditional high-scale microservices architecture with cutting-edge AI technologies, helping the bank design scalable, resilient API-driven ecosystems that embed GenAI, LLMs, and intelligent automation into business workflows.

• Microservices Architecture & System Design: Lead the design and delivery of Java/Spring Boot microservices, establishing API-first design principles, service-to-service communication, and secure integration patterns.  

• AI & LLM Integration: Identify, prototype, and build automation using AI technologies. Architect backend systems that support Large Language Model (LLM) integration, Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG), and Vector Databases.  

• Event-Driven & Cloud-Native Delivery: Design event-driven workflows utilizing streaming platforms like Kafka. Ensure all solutions fit containerized, cloud-native deployments (Docker, Kubernetes/OCP, or Azure Cloud).  

• Technical Governance & Reviews: Drive formal design reviews, select technology stacks, establish caching/observability strategies, and manage application security protocols (OAuth2/JWT).  

• AI-Assisted Engineering: Promote modern workflows within the developer group, including prompt engineering and the practical adoption of GitHub Copilot to optimize software delivery pipelines. 

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or a related discipline, or equivalent practical experience. 
   
• Experience: 7+ years designing and implementing large-scale enterprise applications 

• Core Backend Stack: Deep mastery of Java, Spring, Spring Boot, RESTful APIs, and gRPC services 

• AI Frameworks: Strong proficiency in Python, prompt patterns, orchestrating frameworks (like LangChain or LlamaIndex), and interacting with Vector Databases.  

• Data & Messaging: Hands-on experience with Kafka, RDBMS/SQL, NoSQL, and high-performance data caching architectures.  

• DevSecOps & Ecosystems: Experience using CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitHub Actions), Docker/Podman, OpenShift/Kubernetes, and cloud platforms 

Nice to have:

• Banking, financial services, or other regulated industry experience
• Experience with production GenAI solutions, multiple LLM providers, vector databases, LLM evaluation, and agentic workflows
• Familiarity with AI governance, model risk management, privacy controls, and responsible AI practices
• Experience with APIs, Redis, messaging/streaming services, and Infrastructure as Code
• Experience with security testing, Agile/Scrum, DevSecOps, and GitHub Copilot
• Experience mentoring developers and contributing to architecture standards, technical governance, and engineering strategy
