A Day in the Life:

Based at Monster’s California headquarters in Corona, the Senior Regulatory Affairs Manager is responsible for reviewing ingredients and formulas for compliance and developing accurate and compliant label information for North America and Oceania. The role serves as the regulatory lead for projects, coordinating cross-functional teams to ensure efficient execution and timely delivery. Strong collaboration with flavor houses, ingredient suppliers, Operations, and Commercialization teams is essential to support product development and launch readiness.

The Impact You'll Make:

• PRODUCT DEVELOPMENT: Lead artwork development and regulatory review to ensure label compliance, accuracy, and consistency. Coordinator cross-functional teams, including Creative Services, Innovation, and Project Management, to deliver compliant and market-ready labeling solutions.
• STRATEGIC PROJECT MANAGEMENT: Support regulatory strategy, risk management, and problem-solving for market adaptions. Manage claim and label reviews with external counsel, ensuring alignment with corporate brand and product objectives.  Develop compliance, formulation, and labeling strategies for dynamic regulatory environments.
• REGULATORY PROBLEM SOLVING: Establish a clear direction in unclear territories based on educated risk assessment and high-level strategic thinking. Identify & proactively address bottlenecks in cross-functional projects.
• REGULATORY SUPPORT TO SUPPLY CHAIN: Support local execution of lifecycle-related activities (e.g., translations, artwork coordination).
• PROCESS AND PRODUCT COMMUNICATION: Lead consumer relations or marketing initiatives to develop product FAQs, claims, and POS content. Collaborate with the regulatory leadership to develop internal regulatory policies and best practices to retain knowledge, improve accuracy and streamline processes.
• REGULATORY DECISION GOVERNANCE: Collaborate with Regulatory peers to document decisions regarding the product portfolio to enable faster decision making in future.

Who You Are:

• Prefer a Bachelor’s Degree in the field of Scientific discipline (Chemistry, Nutrition, Food Science etc.) Preference for  MS or MBA.
• 10+ years of experience in Regulatory/compliance experience, including labeling and registration management, formulation/ingredient compliance
• 3-5 years of experience in technical roles (Quality and R&D) with a proven record of an understanding of ingredient, formulations, manufacturing and supply chain
• Proficient with Microsoft Office suite. Experience with Smartsheet, Microsoft PM or other project management system preferred
• PMP certification is a plus
• Industry background in food & beverage, dietary supplements, and/or medical device required.
