Job Description
What You'll Do
As a Junior Associate Director, Private Equity, you will support a portfolio of private equity fund clients and ensure their financial information is accurate, delivered on time, and meets regulatory requirements.
Your day-to-day responsibilities will include:
- Preparing fund accounting reports, Net Asset Values (NAVs), financial statements, and other client deliverables.
- Reviewing fund transactions and ensuring they are accurately recorded in our accounting systems.
- Working closely with investment managers, auditors, brokers, and other external partners to resolve operational matters.
- Collaborating with internal teams such as Investor Delivery, Regulatory Reporting, Finance, and Operations to meet client deadlines.
- Supporting the year-end audit process, including preparing information requested by auditors.
- Responding to client queries and ensuring a high level of service is maintained.
- Monitoring deliverables to ensure all work is completed accurately and within agreed timelines.
- Identifying opportunities to improve processes, increase efficiency, and enhance the client experience.
- Ensuring fees are invoiced and collected on time.
- Assisting with projects, process improvements, and other tasks as required.
Qualifications
- Degree or post-secondary qualification in Accounting, Finance, Business, or a related field.
- Experience in fund administration, investment management, public accounting, or auditing.
- Interest in pursuing or currently studying toward a professional qualification such as ACCA, ACA, CPA, CFA, or equivalent is an advantage.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively with clients and colleagues.
