Product Manager II - Hardware

About the role

Muon Space is hiring a Product Manager to own key spacecraft platform subsystems including power, GNC, and propulsion. Reporting to the Director of Product Management - Spacecraft, you will own the end-to-end roadmap that powers our spacecraft platform to meet customer mission needs.

This position is hybrid and requires working on-site in our San Jose, CA office four days per week.

Responsibilities

• Spacecraft Subsystems
  • Own the product roadmap for key spacecraft subsystems (Power, Propulsion, and GNC) which enable our spacecraft platforms.
  • Define and prioritize features that improve product quality, schedule adherence, or customer value. 
  • Author clear Product Requirements Documents, drive alignment, and follow-through reliably.
  • Partner with the Director of Product Management - Spacecraft to develop the strategy for the product area including make/buy decisions.
  • Conduct customer interviews, gather feedback on product–market fit, and translate insights into roadmap decisions.
