Role Overview: 
 
As a Hardware Design Engineer in the Radiation Team, you will assist with setting up and running tests on electronic components used in our optical communications terminal, helping us make sure everything works well even in the extreme conditions of space. You'll have the chance to advance your understanding of space technology, test hardware, and get hands-on experience with automation and programming. You’ll also make sure everything is built to meet industry standards. 
 
Key Responsibilities: 
  
Radiation Testing of Electronics: Work alongside radiation experts, senior electronic engineers, software developers and other team members to get familiar with the full detail of our cutting edge electronic designs for satellites. Use your knowledge to:

• Prepare for radiation test campaigns. Develop test strategies, methodology, setups and scripts to test components and subsystems under realistic operational conditions while they are exposed to radi
