Job Description

To lead the preparation, submission, negotiation, and administration of commercial bids, tenders, and contracts, ensuring competitive proposals, contractual compliance, and effective commercial risk management.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the identification and review of Oil & Gas tender and business opportunities.

  • Review ITTs, RFQs, RFPs, contracts, and tender documentation.

  • Coordinate technical, commercial, financial, and administrative inputs for bids.

  • Prepare and manage bid submissions, ensuring completeness and timely submission.

  • Develop commercial proposals, pricing schedules, and tender documentation.

  • Coordinate clarification meetings and respond to client queries.

  • Review contractual terms, identify risks, and recommend appropriate actions.

  • Support contract negotiations with clients, contractors, and vendors.

  • Maintain a database of active, submitted, and prospective tenders.

  • Monitor contract performance, milestones, deliverables, and obligations.

  • Manage variations, extensions, claims, and other contractual matters.

  • Ensure compliance with applicable NUPRC, NCDMB, client, and company requirements.

  • Prepare tender, contract, and commercial reports for management.

Qualifications

  • B.Sc./HND in Business Administration, Engineering, Quantity Surveying, Law, Procurement, or related field.

  • 5–7 years’ relevant experience in Contracts, Commercial, Bids/Tenders within the Oil & Gas industry.

  • Professional certification in Contract Management, Procurement, or related discipline is an advantage.

  • Strong knowledge of Oil & Gas tendering and contracting processes.

  • Excellent commercial, analytical, negotiation, and documentation skills.
