Digital Marketing Trainee
Universal Pictures International Spain

As a Digital Marketing Trainee, you will become an integral part of the Marketing team at Universal Pictures International Spain. Reporting to the Head of Digital, you will support the development and execution of innovative, audience-focused digital campaigns for Universal's diverse slate of theatrical releases.
Working closely with teams across Publicity, Media, Partnerships, Creative, and Trade Marketing, you will help bring blockbuster campaigns to life through social media, influencer activations, branded content, digital partnerships, and emerging technologies.

What You'll Do
Digital Campaign Support
- Assist in the planning and execution of digital marketing campaigns across Universal Pictures film releases.
- Support the delivery of social media, influencer, and content marketing initiatives designed to engage audiences and drive awareness.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders, agencies, digital partners, and regional Head Office teams to ensure seamless campaign execution.
Social Media & Content
- Support the management and growth of Universal Pictures Spain's social media channels.
- Assist with the creation, scheduling, and optimisation of digital content across key social platforms.
- Monitor emerging social trends, platforms, and audience behaviours to identify new opportunities.
Website & Digital Platforms
- Help maintain Universal Pictures' corporate website and movie-specific landing pages.
- Ensure digital assets and online content remain accurate, engaging, and up to date.
Performance & Insights
- Monitor campaign performance and analyse results against established KPIs.
- Produce reports, insights, and recommendations to support future campaign planning and optimisation.
Business & Team Support
- Provide administrative support to the Digital Marketing team, including:
- Meeting coordination
- Presentation preparation
- Reporting
- Budget tracking
- Purchase order creation and management

- Excellent communication skills in both Spanish and English.
- Strong analytical thinking combined with creativity and attention to detail.
- An interest in digital media, social platforms, content creation, influencer marketing, and emerging technologies.
- Previous experience or academic exposure to digital marketing is advantageous.
Eligibility Requirements
- University degree completed within the last three years (degree certificate will be required).
- Eligibility to work in Spain.
- Must not have previously been employed under a Contrato de Prácticas.
