Product Owner – Operational Policing Solutions
The OPS Product Owner bridges strategic business goals and tactical software execution of our Operational Policing Solutions products. They own the product backlog, helps prioritise features based on user needs and business value, and guides development teams as needed.
Key Responsibilities:
Product Vision and Strategy: Assist in defining, managing and owning the product vision, across Operational Policing Solutions, ensuring user-centric design principles are embedded throughout.
Product Roadmap: Work collaboratively with the Operational Policing Product teams to define and prioritise Product roadmaps, supported with and providing sound commercial and technical judgement.
Stakeholder Collaboration: Work closely with customers gathering feedback and working with the product teams, software development and UX teams to gather, analyse and prioritise product requirements to maintain design consistency across all OPS interfaces and workflows. Act as the voice of the customer.
Quality Assurance: Evaluate and accept completed software development to ensure they meet agreed quality and functional standards.
Market Research: Assist with competitive analysis and market research to help inform product decisions and identify opportunities for innovation
Qualifications
Skills & Experience:
- Proven experience as a Product Owner or similar role in product management in the SaaS or software sector
- Strong communication, leadership and cross-functional collaboration skills
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a focus on data-driven decision-making
- Familiarity with design and product management tools (e.g. Aha!).
- An understanding of the public safety market is preferable but not essential.
Additional Information
Supplementary:
- Need to be located for easy commute to London
- Met Police Security Clearance is required for this role, if a candidate does not already hold such clearance this must be achieved before they can commence in this role

OTHER INFORMATION
Candidates must be able to demonstrate a pre-existing right to work and travel within the EU. Documentary evidence will be required.
