Job Description

Regulatory Affairs Intern

(6 months - March 2027 - Lyon)

 

We are looking for our new Regulatory Affairs Intern for a duration of 6 months, based in Lyon.

As a Regulatory Affairs Intern, you will support the Regulatory Affairs team in ensuring regulatory compliance of medical devices and combination products throughout their lifecycle. You will work closely with Regulatory Affairs Project Managers and interact with Quality, Design, Project Management, Manufacturing, and other cross-functional teams. 

This  6months internship offers a unique opportunity to gain exposure to global medical device regulations and to participate in strategic regulatory projects within an international environment.

Missions:

  • Support the preparation, maintenance and organization of regulatory documentation throughout the product lifecycle.
  • Perform document gap assessments and collect, consolidate and verify regulatory data.
  • Monitor regulatory and standards updates and assess their potential impact.
  • Update regulatory documentation following product changes.
  • Support the evaluation of new regulatory requirements and technical change impacts.
  • Prepare regulatory summaries, reports and presentations.
  • Assist Regulatory Affairs Project Managers in coordinating regulatory activities and projects.
  • Track project actions, maintain trackers and follow up on regulatory deliverables.
  • Participate in cross-functional meetings and prepare meeting minutes and status updates.
  • Support compliance and continuous improvement initiatives within Regulatory Affairs.
  • Contribute to responses to customer, authority and internal regulatory requests.
  • Assist with audit preparation and follow-up of corrective actions.
  • Maintain regulatory databases and document management systems.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure regulatory compliance and timely project execution.

Qualifications

  • Master's degree student (Bac+4/Bac+5) in, Regulatory Affairs, Biomedical Engineering or Pharmaceutical Sciences 
  • Or Experience in medical devices or pharmaceuticals or combination device 
  • Attention to detail and rigor, Curiosity and willingness to learn. 
  • Good analytical and organizational skills. 
  • Fluent English & French. 
  • Autonomous, proactive, and solution-oriented mindset. 
  • Ability to work in a multicultural and cross-functional environment.
