Senior Engineer II, Software Development
Position Overview
We are seeking a Senior Switching Software Engineer to lead innovation and development of cutting-edge managed switching solutions for small and medium enterprise (SME) markets. This role requires deep technical expertise in switching software architecture and product-level understanding to drive breakthrough innovations in cost-effective, feature-rich managed switches from 10GB to 400GB targeting SME deployments.
Key Responsibilities
Product Innovation Leadership: Drive breakthrough innovations in SME-focused switching features including zero-touch provisioning, cloud-based management integration, and AI-powered network optimization
SME Feature Development: Lead development of enterprise-grade features optimized for SME deployments: simplified network segmentation, automated VLAN provisioning, intelligent traffic prioritization, and plug-and-play enterprise security
Cost-Performance Optimization: Innovate cost-effective solutions that deliver enterprise functionality at SME price points while maintaining performance
Customer-Driven Innovation: Lead research into SME networking pain points
