Job Description:
We are seeking a Senior Cloud Engineer with expertise in Microsoft Azure Government environments to support the migration of workloads into secure, scalable cloud environments. In this role, you will design, implement, and optimize cloud architectures that enable critical government missions while ensuring security, compliance, and scalability. The ideal candidate for this position will have strong knowledge of cloud networking, cloud security, and experience with containerization and infrastructure as code (IaC) tools. Required Qualifications:
- Top Secret security clearance with SCI eligibility.
- A Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Computer Science or a related field and eight (8) years of relevant experience. Also acceptable are a Doctoral degree (PHD) and three (3) years, a Master of Science (M.S.) degree and six (6) years, or no degree and twelve (12) years of relevant experience.
- IAT Level II or III certification relevant to assigned duties (ex: CompTIA Cloud+ or CompTIA Security+).
- Two (2) years of experience working within Microsoft Azure Government environments.
- Experience designing flexible, scalable, and highly available cloud architectures and systems.
- Knowledge of computer networking concepts and protocols, and network security methodologies.
- Knowledge of risk management processes, cybersecurity principals, cyber threats, and vulnerabilities.
- Knowledge of cloud computing service models Software as a Service (SaaS), Infrastructure as a Service (IaaS), and Platform as a Service (PaaS).
- Knowledge of cloud computing deployment models in private, public, and hybrid environments.
Desired Qualifications:
- Familiarity with NIST 800-53, FedRAMP, security tools, and principles.
- Expertise in containerization technologies like Kubernetes and Docker. Expertise with IAC tools like Terraform and ARM templates. Familiarity with DevOps concepts and tools like GitLab, JIRA, and Jenkins.
- Knowledge of AI/ML concepts and tools.
- Experience with data visualization tools like Power BI.
