Tax Manager

Based in New York, NY, Joel Isaacson & Co. serves successful executives, business owners, professionals and high net worth families. The firm’s services include: investment and cash flow management, estate and tax planning and preparation, insurance planning and retirement planning. We have an immediate opening for a Tax Manager. Our Tax Practice focuses on tax business planning, advisory & compliance services for ultra-wealthy families and multi-generational wealth planning. The group specializes in the taxation of gifts, trusts, estates, foundations, closely held entities, and individual returns.

This is a hybrid position: 2 days in office / 3 days remote.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Demonstrates thorough technical knowledge of accounting standards and reporting standards in researching, completing, and reviewing technical areas.
• Identifies tax risk management issues and proposes potential solutions through research and collaboration with the Engagement Partner
• Review tax procedures, engagement workpapers, and financial statements without supervision
• Addresses questions
