Tax Accountant

Position Summary

Altman Greenfield & Selvaggi (AGS) is a fast-growing, boutique Accounting Firm specializing in Business Management for entertainment clients, located in West Los Angeles, CA.

We are currently seeking a Staff Tax Accountant for either of our Westwood, CA or Encino, CA offices. This person is a team player that can roll up their sleeves when needed and can multi-task. There will be direct interaction and collaboration with both Partners, along with the Sr. Accountants and Tax Manager.

This position is a hybrid role: (2-3 days in office). For the first 6 months of employment, new hires are required to be in the office 4 days per week.

Primary Responsibilities

• Accurately prepare federal, state, and local tax returns and extensions - individuals, corporate, partnerships, and trust returns
• Accurately prepare clean and easy-to-follow workpapers
• Review tax information and identify missing items
• Perform tax research
• Identify and communicate issues to seniors and Partners and help problem solve to find solutions
• Carry out business management task at the direction of your seniors or Partners.
