POSITION SUMMARY
Reporting to the Production Manager, this position is responsible for directing and coordinating the day-to-day operations of the production departments with the Winnipeg New Flyer facility. This position ensures both long- and short-term goals are achieved through the implementation and completion of both departmental and corporate goals.
WHAT YOU WILL DO:
- Monitors the capacity of the production departments to ensure both equipment and resources, including manpower, meet requirements as set out by the Master Schedule.
- Ensures operational KPI’s and OPEX are established, and objectives are met.
- Reports on departmental objectives and issues in Daily Operational Meetings.
- Monitors and promotes the Health and Safety programs and takes an active role in the elimination of hazardous conditions in developing a safer working environment.
